Μs Sarakosti with her 7 legs! A great way to measure the Great Lent weeks. Starting on “Clean Monday”, remove one foot every Saturday, so you can easily calculate how many weeks are left until Easter. The last leg is removed on Good Saturday.

Μs Sarakosti’s hands in this position symbolise prayer, the absence of the mouth refers to fasting, while the seven feet represent the seven weeks of Lent.
